PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2020-21
- APGENCO has achieved annual generation of 14194.71 MU.
- Thermal power stations (Dr NTTS & RTPP) have achieved annual generation of 10610.06 MU.
- Thermal power station (Dr NTTPS & RTPP) have achieved a PLF of 35.52. The low generation & PLF were because of less demand in the grid due to COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
- Generation from Hydro power stations is 3811.15 MU during 2020-21 against an APERC target of 3181.6 MU.
- Generation from Solar plant (5.4MW) at Polavaram is 7.44 MU and from Solar plant at Talaricheruvu (400 MW) is 740.06 MU.
- Annual Overhaul of all Thermal Units (7 units of Dr.NTTPS and 6 units of RTPP) was carried out in 2020-21 Loss of generation due to overhauls is about 1854.86 MU.
- About 15724.02 MU was backed down at thermal stations as per the instructions of Load Dispatch Centre.
- Thermal power stations have recorded the highest daily generation of 71.043 MU on 15.04.2020.
- Hydel stations have recorded the highest daily generation of 26.700 MU on 19.08.2020.
- Solar generation has recorded highest daily generation of 2. 706 MU on 26.01.2021.
- APGENCO stations have recorded the highest daily generation of 88.857MU on16.03.2021.
- Dr. NTTPS has achieved 54.04% PLF and Rayalaseema TPS achieved 15.76% PLF. The PLF is low because of less demand in the grid due to COVID -19 PANDEMIC
- Thermal stations have achieved 88.16% deemed PLF (Dr. NTTPS — 88.48% & RTPP- 87.82%).

- APGENCO has achieved annual generation of 21597 MU.
- Thermal power stations (Dr NTTPS & RTPP) have achieved annual generation of 17469.02 MU.
- Thermal power stations (Dr NTTPS & RTPP) have achieved 58.48% (excluding RTPP IV is 66.76% PLF).
- Generation from Hydro power stations is 3425.00 MU during 2019-20 against target of 3181.6 MU.
- Generation from Solar plant (5.4 MW) at Polavaram is 8.07 MU and from Solar plant at Talaricheruvu (400 MW) is 694.98 MU.

- About 2316 MU was backed down at thermal stations as per the instructions of Load Dispatch Centre during 2015-16.
- Thermal power stations have recorded the highest daily generation of 65.27 MU on 02.04.2015
- Hydel stations have recorded the highest daily generation of 13.41 MU on 03.11.2015
- Dr NTTPS has achieved 78% PLF and Rayalaseema TPS achieved 79% PLF.

- APGENCO has achieved annual generation of 41959 MU during 2013-14 (2nd highest).
- APGENCO contribution to AP Power grid is 38813 MU (43.8%)
- Thermal power stations have achieved annual generation of 34795 MU
- APGENCO Thermal power stations achieved 78% PLF against All India Average PLF of 65.6%.
- Generation from Hydro power stations is 7162 MU during 2013-14 against 3226 MU achieved during 2012-13 owing to good inflows into all major reservoirs.
- Srisailam reservoir received about 820 TMCft during 2013-14 against 196 TMCft during 2012-13.
- Solar PV unit established at Jurala by APGENCO has once again generated 1.7 MU during 2013-14 against guaranteed energy of 1.4 MU per annum.
