3	Name of the Work	KTPS -C -BM-I-Fabrication of air heater dummies for unit No 7 & 8 during the annul overhaul year 2012-13
4	Description of work	The primary & secondary air heater tubes are in badly damaged condition due to severe flue gas erosion, resulting in more air leakage, which reduces the air heater efficiency and causes the hot air duct pressure to be low side and causing the overloading the ID fans, which in turn causes the loss of generation. Air heater dummies are not available at our site hence the dummies are fabricated from the ferrules. Existing the ferrules has more at the end of out side. Which is more affected by flue gas erosion and reduce the gap between economizer and primary air heater. Hence, cutting the required size and welding the dummy at one side of the ferrules is done.

7	EMD to be paid	$.1622.00 shall be paid as EMD by way of DD Drawn on any scheduled bank in favor of Senior Accounts Officer / O&M / KTPS ( Pay Officer ), Payable at Paloncha. However, the EMD is exempted for PEMD Holders and others who are eligible for exemption as per the prevailing norms.

17	Technical/Any other additional information	CONDITIONS: Cost of tender schedule once paid will not be returned under any circumstances. The date of issue of DD/PO/BC's towards cost of Tender Schedule and EMD's should not earlier than the date of issue of the Tender Notice. If the contractor withdraws their offer with in validity period, it the EMD will be forfeited accordingly. Application for tender schedules shall be accompanied of copy of experience certificate, EPF copy, labour license, latest audit report issued by the district Co-Operative officer, Khammam) Dist., (If demanded) failing which their application will not be considered. The under signed reserves the right to reject any or all tenders with out assigning any reasons there of. Tender schedules can be issued to the Non-EPF requested firms/companies holders subject to out come of the orders that may be passed by the honorable High court in the writ petitions No's 12066, 23012, 25340/2002 filed or any other matter connected there with or incidental thereof. EMD AMOUNT SHOULD BE PAID ALONG WITH THE QUOTATION ONLY Extension of due dates of receipt, opening etc., of any will not be intimated separately.The individual intending contractors should ascertain the same from the O/o. the Superintending Engineer/O&M/ KTPS-C-Stn. on any day during the working hours i.e. 10.30 hrs to 17.00 hrs. EPF,GI will be paid at actual and it is limited to the provision available towards the actuals as work. The Service Tax shall be paid extra, as applicable on production of proof of Service Tax Reg.No. The Contractor/ firm should quote excluding EPF,GI, Sales Tax (if applicable )and Service Tax. The Sales Tax as applicable and if applicable will be recovered at Source.
