Tender Notice No.CE/C/Hydel/HD&MD-III/NSTPD/F.441/D.No. 150 /2012, Dt: 26-03-2012.

Sealed tenders are invited for the following work, from the reputed agencies who are having experience in providing third party Quality control service for major multi purpose projects consisting of Dam, Radial crest gates and Powerhouse etc.,.

Thetenders will be received by theTender Receiving Officer, APGENCO, Room No.120 'A' Block, Vidyut Soudha, Hyderabad -500 082, up to 3.00 PMon 26-04-2012.

Thetenders will be openedbythe SuperintendingEngineer/ Civil Designs in Room No.155, 'A' Block, Vidyut Soudha in the presence of tenderers or their authorised representativesat 4.00 PMon 26-04-2012.

Receipt and Opening of the tenders will be done on the next working day at the same timings, if the date indicated above is declared as a holiday.

2)Cost of each Tender Specification:Rs. 1050/- (including VAT) by way ofDemand Draft / BankersCheque drawn in favour of Pay Officer, APGENCO, Vidyut Soudha, Hyderabad, on any Nationalised / Scheduled Bank, Payable at Hyderabad.

3)E.M.D.Rs. 6780/- by way ofDemand Draft / BankersCheque drawn in favour of Pay Officer, APGENCO, Vidyut Soudha, Hyderabad, on any Nationalised / Scheduled Bank, Payable at Hyderabad

Note:1) TheEMD shall be invariably furnished along with the application for tender specification.

2) The EMD of the applicants who do not submit their tenders after obtaining the tender documents will be forfeited.

4)Last date for receipt of applications

for Tender Specification.:*30.06.2012

8)Period of contract:22 Months or completion of work whichever is earlier.

9)Eligibility Criteria:The bidder/ firm shall have established track record and proven experience in providing third party quality control service for major dams and hydro electric projects.

The bidder / firm should have satisfactorily provided third party quality control servicefor at least one major multi purpose project consisting of Dam, Radial crest gates and Powerhouse during last five years i.efrom FY 2006-07 to FY 2010-11. The required experience certificate to that effect shall be furnished along with the application for issue of tender schedule.

The bidder / firm presently providing such service as stated above are also eligible for quoting for the subject work.

The bidder should have registration for Service Tax, EPF etc.,

Note:

a)The cost of tender schedules once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

b)The applications for tender schedules shall be accompanied by

i)Copy of registration certificate towards Service Tax , EPF etc.,

ii)Copies of experience certificates.

iii)Separate DDs towards cost of tender ( Rs.1050/-)and towards EMD (Rs. 6,780/-)

iv)If the tenderer desires to get the tender schedules by post, postage charges shall be born bythe tenderer only.APGENCO is not responsible for any postal delay.

c)APGENCO reserves the right to reject any and / or all the tenders without assigning any reasons there for.

d)Bidding documents will be issued to the prima facie qualified bidder. However, such issuance of bidding documents will not automatically mean that such a bidder is considered qualified. The details furnished along with the tender schedules will be examined in detail as per the requirement of the bidding documents and his eligibility will be established accordingly.

e)APGENCO reserves the right to amend or modify the tender and its conditions before opening of Tenders under intimation to the tenderers.
