PRESS NOTE Dated : 30.12.2011 We are happy to inform that the 1.0 MW Photo Voltaic Cell basedSolar Power plant installed at Priyadharsini Jurala Hydro Electric Project by APGENCO was commissioned on 29th, December, 2011. The plant is synchronised with Grid at 08.10 hrs today.Commercial Operation of the plant will start from 31.12.2011. This project was allocated toAPGENCO under the JNNSM (Jawaharlal Lal Nehru National Solar Mission) Phase - I programme by IREDA, ( Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency,)Government of India. The total project cost is Rs.12.8 Crores and the designed Annual energyis 1.4MU The power will be fed in to the 11KV system of CPDCL at Gadwal, Mahaboob Nagar Dist.As per the guidelines of JNNSM Phase-I Rs.17.91 / unit will be paid for the power generated from the this plant. (Rs.5.50 /Unit by CPDCL and Rs.12.41 / Unit by IREDA, Govt. of India.)APGENCO has entered first time in to the solar power Generation and successfully completed the 1MW solar PV plant.
