CELEBRATION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY AT KTPS-V STAGE ON DT: 05.06.09:

WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY was celebrated at KTPS - V Stage on 05.06.09 successfully amidst the employees of KTPSV Stage. Sri N.Nagarjuna Garu,Executive Engineer /APPCB, Kothagudem, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In the presence of Chief Engineer /O&M/KTPSV Stage, Superintending Engineer/O&M-I, Superintending Engineer/O&M-II, Superintending Engineer/ADM and Superintending Engineer/Civil, all the gathering of the function Pledged to Protect the Environment.

RELEASE OF BOOKLET TITLED PARYAVARANAPARIRAKSHANA:
A booklet titled "PARYAVARANA PARIRAKSHANA" was released by Sri.N.Rajasekhara Rao, Chief Engineer/O&M/KTPS - V Stage and distributed to all employees of KTPSV Stage to enhance the awareness among the employees. Essay Writing Competition had been conducted for students and Employees on this occasion. Prizes were distributed to the winners by APGENCO as well as APPCB, Kothagudem.

PLANTATION OF SAPLINGS:
On the occasion of World Environmental Day 2009 saplings were planted near cooling towers, DM Plant and Ash pond to enhance the greenery belt in around the KTPS complex.
