INAUGURATION OF VIDEO COFERENCE HALL AT KTPS-V STAGE:

The newly renovated with fully furnished Video Conference Hall at KTPS-V Stage has been inaugurated by Sri. Ajay Jain, IAS, Managing Director, APGECNCO on 17.03.2009 @ 09.00 Hrs., in the presence of Sri.U.G.Krishna Murthy, Director/Technical, Sri.C.Radha Krishna, Director/Projects&Thermal, Sri.A.Venkateswara Rao, CE/O&M/KTPS, Sri.N.Rajasekhara Rao, CE/O&M/KTPS-V Stage, Sri.K.Ratna Babu, CE/Civil/Thermal, Sri.P.Prakash, CE/TPC and Sri.Ch.Thirupathi Rayudu, CE/Gen-I.

The Video Conferencing was switched on by the hands of Sri.Ajay Jain, IAS and point to point contact with Vidyutsoudha, H.Q was successfully established. Later on, Sri.A.RamaRao, Executive Director/IS/APGENCO has participated in the multi point Video Conferencing with KTPS-V Stage, DR.NTTPS and H.Q.

Managing Director, Director (Projects) and Director (Tech) have congratulated the Engineers and Staff concerned for the good efforts carried out in renovation and modernization of multi purpose video conference-cum-training hall which is built with aesthetic approach.

UNVEILLING OF STATUE OF BHARAT RATNA SIR MOKSHAGUNDAM VISVESVARAYA AT KTPS-V STAGE:

The Statue of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, installed in front of Administrative Block of KTPS-V Stage has been unveiled by Sri Ajay Jain, IAS, Managing Director/APGENCO, in the presence of Sri.U.G.Krishna Murthy, Director/Technical, Sri.C.RadhaKrishna, Director/Projects&Thermal, Sri.A.Venkateswara Rao, CE/O&M/KTPS, Sri.N.Rajasekhara Rao, CE/O&M/KTPS-V Stage, Sri.K.RatnaBabu, CE/Civil/Thermal, Sri.P.Prakash, CE/TPC and Sri.Ch.Thirupathi Rayudu, CE/Gen-I on 17.03.2009 at 09.30 Hrs.

The Statue was garlanded by the Managing Director, Director (Projects & Thermal), Director (Tech), Chief Engineers and Superintending Engineers. Rich Floral Tributes were paid to Sir M.V by all the dignitaries and gathering.

Managing Director in his address to the gathering advised to emulate and follow the principles of Sir M.V who lived his life above the cast, creed, community, religion and language. He also mentioned that Sir M.V was not only a good engineer and statesman but also rendered an excellent service to the society.

Sri.U.G.Krishna Murthy, Director/Technical, during his address requested that tributes to the great son of India Sir M.V can be paid only through practicing the core values and teachings of Sir M.V. He further mentioned that the statue of Sir M.V reminds the commitment and integrity levels he maintained through out his life time. He appealed to the Associations to take up similar installation of Sir M.V Statue at other Power Plants as well.

Addressing on the occasion, Sri.C.Radha Krishna, Director (Projects & Thermal) congratulated and commended the services of Sri.A. Ajay, S.E/Civil and Sri.Ramanuja Das, AEE/Civil for excellent coordination of the Statue installation works. He thanked Sri.Harindrnath Udayar (sculpture), who has built, carved and delivered the Sir M.V. Statue.
At the end Sri.Harindranath Udayar has been warmly felicitated by Managing Director and Director(Tech) and Director (Projects & Thermal).
