KTPS -C-Genl-Clearing of neck jams as & when jamming occurs in RC feeders of units 7 & 8 of KTPS –C, refilling of rat holes & when forms in the coal bunkers of KTPS-C and emptying of coal bunkers & cleaning of their inner walls during annual overhaul of unit 7 & 8 of KTPS-C during the year 2013-14
Changing compound oil, cleaning rim gear, replacement of explosion diaphragms, cleaning and purging of all oil lines, replacement of contaminated oil from lube oil tank , rectification of eroded portion of mills, fabrication and erection of pipe bends etc.,
Transporting of armour inserts, Inspection of bearings of mills, unloading the hichrome grinding media balls, dummying existing unuseful mill liner bolt holes, removal of coal powder in mills etc.,
Inspection of Coupling end and free end bearings, replacement of PA fan bearings and decoupling of motor from FD fan shaft and tilting, removing and replacement of bearings if damaged etc.,
Replacement of damaged coal seal ropes, Rectification of hot air leaking expansion joints’ Providing shrouds by 10/12 mm MS/CS scrap plate on fabricated coal side mixing nozzles etc.
This work consists of opening and closing of all the access doors of ESP’s, cleaning of ESP fields &ESP’s hoppers, Servicing of gear boxes, rectification of damaged collecting collecting electrodes etc.
Rectification work on ID fan impeller, O/H of 5A & 5B lub oil systems, cleaning of working oil coolers, inspection of IDF’s bearings, Removal of fluid drive type of ID fan 5A and 5B etc.,
Replacement of damaged coal seal ropes, Rectification of hot air leaking expansion joints’ Providing shrouds by 10/12 mm MS/CS scrap plate on fabricated coal side mixing nozzles etc.

Decoupling of vapour fan from motor, Removal of bearing housing covers, checking of Vapour fan shaft straightness, reconditioning damaged bell mouth and spiral casing top part and bottom part and inspecting vapour fan bed etc.,
Replacing the completely eroded portions of the coal nozzles by cutting the eroded portion, Reconditioning of BHEL make ceramic lined 90 degrees bendsetc.
